My name is Terry and I've been using JWildfire for many years now. That's just informational, as I am certainly nowhere near a master at using the program.

I have been using it since version 1.00, and stayed with it because it beat the pants off of the other flame fractal programs I started with.
While I fell in love with IFS-based fractals long ago, when I was still using Fractint, I find them much more challenging to create than other fractal types. For that reason, I have quite a large collection of free and commercial fractal generators that I use alongside JWildfire. While some of them have the ability to produce flames and IFS, JWildfire is the only program I use for flames now.
I have a DeviantArt page (
https://www.deviantart.com/illspentyouth) where I've shared most of the fractals I consider worth sharing. And I also belong to several Facebook fractal groups.
Since I have the opportunity, I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have written tutorials, scripts and variations for this program, and those who have shared the .flame files of their creations to help us better learn how to use JWildfire. You people and your work are awesome.
Peace.
